I never considered getting a laser printer, until my brother bought the HL 2170W. I had always been a inkjet printer "fan", and had stayed away from lasers because of the cost of the toner cartridges. However, my brother showed me a feature on the Brother 2170W that really saves on using ink.

Also, this thing is MUCH faster than my inkjet, takes up less space, and has a HUGE paper tray!But what really sold me on the HL 2170W, is how sharp and crisp it prints. I had no idea that lasers printed THIS beautifully!

It also does a good job on letterhead and envelopes, which is good for me, as I send out at least 50 a week to potential clients.

Mainly, I am writing this 2170W review so that people will at least try a laser if they have stayed away from them in the past."
